ESPIRITO SANTO
This semi-washed coffee was named "Muriqui" in homage to the little monkey typical of the region. The way it is prepared and the high altitude, characteristic of Espirito Santo, give this Muriqui a tangy profile with a hint of white fruit.
Espirito Santo is a brand new producer of specialty coffee that has quickly carved out a place for itself in this particularly demanding environment. The very small appellation, the Espirito Santo is made up of small properties of 5 to 20 hectares located on steep mountains. This very mountainous soil requires a 100% manual harvest with a high percentage of selective sorting. Rich in native forests with remarkable flora and fauna, the State wishes to preserve the quality of its territory and its remarkable landscapes punctuated by the Atlantic coast and its steep mountains
We roast our coffee Mondays and Wednesdays! All weekly orders are dispatched twice a week Tuesdays & Thursdays. On all of our coffee bags, we provide you with a roast date. To get the best out of our coffee, we aim to rest it for 7-14 days after roasting (depending on the type of coffee); this allows for the flavors to open up, offering much more clarity to your cup.
