LAS GALLARDO

Dafne and Damaris Gallardo are two sisters who are passionate about and producers of coffee. They have been managing the Las Gallardo family farm for more than 20 years, cultivating coffee in an environment particularly well-suited to its production, since their 30-hectare farm, owned initially by their father, is located in a region that benefits from a pleasant climate and rich volcanic soils.

These production conditions combined with the hard work and perseverance of both Dafne and Damaris are now bearing fruit because their coffees have a reputation for being of excellent quality. The farm devotes 30 hectares to coffee production, and the remaining 100 hectares are preserved mountains.

The farm is located in the Chiriqui region of the Juruntugo terroir bordering Costa Rica at an altitude of 1,750 metres. The soil is sandy and of volcanic origin. The steep path that leads to the farm plunges you immediately into a preserved natural environment, surrounded by imposing trees and cliffs

We roast our coffee Mondays and Wednesdays! All weekly orders are dispatched twice a week Tuesdays & Thursdays. On all of our coffee bags, we provide you with a roast date. To get the best out of our coffee, we aim to rest it for 7-14 days after roasting (depending on the type of coffee); this allows for the flavors to open up, offering much more clarity to your cup.
